]]>The Mediterranean Corridor is a rail corridor that runs mainly parallel to the Mediterranean coast in eastern Spain.
The term is used to describe several different lines in the same corridor, both in terms of their type (high speed, conventional line, freight line…), their situation (in service, under construction, in project, in planning…), and their scope (from Barcelona-Valencia to the whole Mediterranean). All these lines are related to each other by linking the same cities and sharing several sections and stations. Together with the Atlantic Corridor and the Central Corridor, they will be the three main transport networks for both people and goods between the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of the European continent.
The purpose of the contract is the development of the acoustic study in the indicated area (Castellbisbal-Almussafes), to compare the acoustic levels before and after the implementation of the third lane in the Mediterranean Corridor.
The scenario prior to the entry into service of the third lane will be determined by 2013 traffic, and the future scenario will correspond to the projections for the year 2040. In addition, an intermediate analysis scenario will be established in 2020.

]]>According to the European Union Directive 2002/49, community regulations on noise pollution prevention, and in accordance with the Spanish Noise Law 37/2003 and the Royal Decree that develops it (R.D. 1513/2005, on Noise, with regard to the evaluation and management of environmental noise), agglomerations, understood as municipalities with a population of over 100,000 inhabitants, must have a Strategic Noise Map. The scope of the study to be carried out will cover the entire area corresponding to the urban agglomeration of Fuenlabrada.
Strategic maps of agglomerations take special account of noise from road traffic, rail traffic, airports and industrial areas.
Its purpose is to provide a tool for assessing the overall exposure to noise pollution in a given area and the informed adoption of action plans on noise pollution and, in general, of appropriate corrective measures.
For this purpose, the study will include the values of existing or predicted noise indices and thus the estimated number of people, dwellings, educational centers and hospitals or health centers exposed to noise pollution will be obtained.
The contract includes a campaign of “in situ” measurements distributed throughout the municipality of Fuenlabrada. The purpose of the measurement campaigns is twofold: on the one hand, to determine the day-evening-night behavior of the different types of streets identified, and on the other, to adjust the noise maps drawn up.

]]>The City Council of Mataró has appointed Pep Hurtado de dnota as Maritime Safety Coordinator for the event.
The duties of the coordinator are to define the tasks, communication structures, workflow and timelines for all stakeholders of the 2014 Air Festival event, as provided for in the. Royal Decree 62/2008of January 25, which approves the Regulation of the conditions of maritime safety, navigation and human life at sea applicable to commemorative nautical gatherings and nautical-sporting events and in accordance with the Royal Decree 1919/2009of December 11, regulating aeronautical safety in civil aerial demonstrations. Furthermore, these security guidelines aim to differentiate the different areas of interrelation between the event organizer and the city authorities and all parties involved with respect to their strategic and operational responsibilities on site during the preparation and also during the event.
Maritime security is monitored by the devices contracted by the organization and by those public troops that are available to be deployed at any time:
Attendance at the event is more than 50,000 people for the exhibition days, while the training sessions, not being advertised, are attended only by regular users of the coastline, including passing boats. Bathers may not exceed the bathing areas marked by the seasonal buoy device, which are always outside the restricted safety zone for the exhibition.

The work carried out by dnota have consisted of locating the appropriate anchorage site, taking into account the environmental characteristics of the area, the processing of permits for the installation of floating structures in the open sea, which always involve the introduction of obstacles that may cause difficulties for free navigation in these waters, and the coordination of the installation with material resources and equipment specialized in maritime works (tugboats, cranes, diving platforms, etc.).
