  • The Thermo Scientific Model 43i is an analyzer that uses the pulsed fluorescence technique to measure the amount of sulfur dioxide in the air up to 100 ppm.
  • The pulses of the UV lamp serve to increase the optical intensity, which causes higher UV energy to impinge on the sample to achieve lower SO2 concentrations.
  • The 43i analyzer uses bandpass reflector filters, which, compared to commonly used transmission filters, suffer less photochemical degradation and are more selective in terms of the bandpass of interest in SO2 measurement.
  • This state-of-the-art gas analyzer offers features such as an Ethernet port and Flash memory as a data storage extension.
  • Ethernet connectivity provides efficient remote access, allowing the user to download measurement information directly from the instrument without having to be on site.
  • The analyzer has user-configurable keys that allow direct access to frequently used functions, menus or screens. It has a large display that allows up to five lines of measurement information to be displayed, while keeping the main display visible.
